Good to know

The studio is located in the front of the house and it is completely private, we do rent other units in the house but if you do not want to you do not need to interact with any other guests. I don't live in the house but my cousin Ramon does, if you have any questions you can always message me. The inspiration for the studio was a New York loft with a South Florida historical twist. It has a small coffee section with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. If you like to take a break from the heat head to the back and relax in our hammocks under the mango and almond trees.

House Rules

We aim to make your stay as pleasant and convenient as possible but we fully expect all our guests to follow the following rules: - Quiet hours from 9pm - 9am. - Please be mindful and courteous of our all neighbors. - We reserve the right to ask any guest for identification. - Unless explicitly stated, if your unit has street parking it is always on a first come, first served basis. - All our rooms are non-smoking, if the cleaning crew determines that the guests smoked in the room there will be a fee of $150. - Bugs and Critters: please note that we routinely spray our property for bugs and critters. Howerver if you do come across any little critters please keep in mind that Florida is a Subtropical Climate. To help prevent this keep all windows and doors closed at all times. - We perform regular maintenance in all our properties, rarely do we require access to the rooms but there are times at which we do (ie pest control, ac maintenance, etc); in those cases we would let you know ahead of time.- Late checkouts will have a fee of $200. A late checkout is when any of the guests stays past the check out time. - Lost keys will have a $50 replacement fee.

Other Details to Note

Little Havana is at the center of it all, it is a 10 minute drive from anywhere in Miami, with access to public transportation and plenty of Ubers and to top it all off, easy and free street parking Walk two blocks north and you will reach 8th street (Calle Ocho), there you will find local restaurants, bars and cabarets, a gorgeous Art Deco movie theater showing foreign and independent films, souvenir shops, fruit stands, art galleries and several live music venues including the historic Ball and Chain. Marlins Park is a $5 Uber Ride Away and I highly recommend catching a game if you have the time, even for non baseball fans, it is a great experience. If you head east to Coconut Grove you have: nice restaurants, local bars and shops, paddle-boarding, kayaking, biking, Viscaya or The Barnacle. If you head west you can go to Miracle Mile for some shopping and dining or catch the local crowd at a happy hour at Tarpon Bend, Hillstone or Bulla. Neighborhood

Shenandoah is a residential neighborhood nestled between Little Havana and Coral Gables. It has the best of both worlds; the rich Mediterranean architecture, foliage and history of Coral Gables combined with the location, night live, liveliness and culture of Little Havana You have everything that makes Miami Miami, from Versailles restaurant to to the multi million dollar Marlins Park, world renown art galleries to Los Pinarenos Fruteria. It is rapidly gentrifying but it is still hanging on to the culture of those that made an extension of Cuba in the States plus all the ones that built on it after.
